Dreamers

A million archers in the night Shooting stars across the sky Glowing bright before they die Surreal mind and heavy eyes We drifted on oceans Under roaring skies While storms were passing In the night And all around In the deep blue night Celestial beings In the sky One archer shoots an arrow down Splits the night and through the clouds Into depths that swell below Surging deep to parts unknown The archer waited as his weapon searched The night still shrill as it battled with earth And then it happened, that stormy night Ascending from the depths was a sparkling light A song upon the lips of a fair-skinned allurer Enchanting the archer and granting him fervor Her hair flowed in swells in glimmering twilight Seductive and charming to her beloved knight The archer reached for his dazzling charm Not to save, but to rejoice within her arms She held him close inside the depths For he found his glory pressed against her breasts They smiled and swam despite the brine Together in sync, lovers harmonized And as they drifted into the expanse I imagined it a dream, for such little chance I opened my eyes to a cloudless room And was swiftly proven wrong, as I was entwined with you Storms are for dreamers The bold and the brave But nights like these are for lovers Who dare to make their own waves The archer who's brave Searching low and above His charmer and anchor Dreamers in love
