Nocturnal Creatures

The moons, the moons

The tides and your eyes

Heart flitters and stops

Sighs and it dies

Water ashore

Sheath like silk sheets

Black waves erase

Cleanses and creeps

Weaving our way

Lips glisten with need

Hungry eyes close

Succumb, lover’s greed

Like clockwork we die

In arms we entwine

Soaking in moonlight

Fingers like vines

Grazing in greatness

Heavenly and sweet

Savory nights

Splashed in white

The tides bring us pleasure

The moon grants us love

The sleeping lark ceases

We succumb, we succumb
