She shakes the birds Out from their nest Fell out of her hair And into her breasts Her stubborn strands Like grass and wires Like twine and coil Barely touched by fire She wanders the woods Some utter the words That she searched for a knight Though she searched for a sword Some might even say That she longed for a man Though the mightiest of kings Had fallen by her hand Her strength like fire Blazing and blow Her stubborn strands higher On and on she will go Some might even whisper That a man held her faith Though dragons she desired And the art of the slay So the stubborn bird soars On and on so she can be Like the grass and live wires Wild, savage Truthful, and free
